Dewey’s 24-Hour Readathon , October 17, 2015
Hello lovely readers! It’s time for another readathon, and I’m so excited for this one. For those of you who don’t know what Dewey’s 24-hour readathon is, you can check out their about page here and find out more information! Basically, people from all around the world start reading at the same time and they read as much as possible for 24 hours. If you would like to join in, you can sign up here and check your start time here.
I have a fairly good idea of what I want to read for this readathon, at least graphic novel wise. I have five graphic novels that I would like to read during the readathon, and some novels that I am currently reading that I would like to read more of.
Saga Volumes 1 – 5 by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples
I own all five volumes of Saga by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples. Graphic novels are perfect for readathons because they are short and mostly art, which makes them quick to read.
Angelfall by Susan Ee
I am currently reading this and really enjoying it, I just haven’t been reading very fast. I’m hoping to finish this before the readathon, but that is fairly unlikely.
Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi
I really want to continue on with this series. I’m only about 80 pages into this and I haven’t read any of it since I started it for the last readathon that I participated in. I may or may not restart this if I do pick it up for the readathon.
I may or may not stick to this TBR. It will depend on my mood on Saturday! I also have to work Saturday night, so I will miss out on a couple hours of reading, but that should be a nice break for me. I will be updating with my progress via twitter, if you would like to know how I’m doing you can check there! Feel free to send me some tweets, I would love to chat with you guys. (:
Are you participating in Dewey’s 24-hour readathon?
Yes! It’s going to be my first readathon so I’m interested to see how it goes. I’m going to be on Twitter as well so I’ll probably hit you up!

I hope you enjoyed your first readathon experience! I wasn’t on Twitter as much as I was expecting to be. I unexpectedly ended up puppy sitting.

Puppies are still a great way to spend the day!

It was a great way to spend the day! And I did get some reading done, just not as much as I expected. (:

Good luck tomorrow! I’ve got quite the stack for my TBR, though I’m sure I won’t even get to half of them. You’ve set yourself a realistic, manageable goal — very smart!

Thanks! I didn’t read as much as I was hoping to, but I still managed to finish a few things. So I’m happy with what I did accomplish.
