This Week on Caity Reads

This Week on Caity Reads | 13

This week on Caity Reads is a feature I do, every Sunday, to tell you what’s been going on in my reading world the past week.

Books Read:

I had a pretty good reading week! The first book I finished this week was If I Stay by Gayle Forman. It was a fantastic, emotional read, and I should have a review on it up soon. I really what to read the sequel, so hopefully I can get my hands on it soon. After that I finished The Maze Runner by James Dashner. This definitely took a different turn in the end than I expected. It was a good book, and I liked it, I just didn’t love it. I hope to also have a review of it up soon. After that I picked up and finished Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I read most of it in a day (I had read a couple chapters the night before). It was great. It was fast paced and I didn’t put it down until I finished it at two am. The next day I purchased and started the sequel, Onyx and that is what I am currently reading. I’m a little over half way through and I’m really hoping to finish it tonight.

Books Acquired:

The only book I purchased this week was Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I also recieved Undertow and Stormfront by K.R. Conway for review from NetGalley and the publisher.

Reading Plans:

Tomorrow is the first day of the Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon and if I do not finish Onyx tonight, that is what I will start with. After that I’m hoping to move on to one of the books I have for review. Probably Undertow by K.R. Conway or Guilt by Association by Marcia Clark.

What did you read this week? And what do you plan on reading next?
